Executive Principal

Mr. Tony is a graduate of Leeds Beckett University (UK), where he obtained a B.Ed (Hons). He holds Q.T.S in the UK and is a New Zealand registered teacher. Mr. Tony has 25 years of teaching and leadership experience in schools around the world including UK, Kuwait, Qatar, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia. He has spent approximately 13 years in the role of Principal. He was awarded a Ministry of Education 'Outstanding Contribution to Education Award' in 2014 for his work at NIS. Mr. Tony's believes that all children have the capacity to achieve and is fully committed to excellence throughout the school.

Boys Principal

Mr. Mohammad Wajeeh graduated from Mu'tah University, Jordan in 1996 with a Bachelor Degree in Education / Teaching English Language. Throughout his 20 years career in education he’s had the opportunity to serve in various roles; beginning with English language and social studies teacher moving to English Language Academic Coordinator and Schools’ General Supervisor. Since 2015, Mr. Wajeeh has served as the Boys' School Principal at NIS. Mr. Wajeeh's mission as principal is to always put children first! He is committed to providing a safe environment and exceptional learning experiences to all NIS students that prepare them to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to become successful members of their societies.

Boys Principal

Mrs. Hana Al-Dossary, who joined NIS as the Girls' School Principal in September 2014, is a Saudi citizen with a BA degree in English from King Faisal University. Mrs. Al-Dossary started her teaching career in 1999 before joining the MOE where her final position was Head of the English Department. Mrs. Al-Dossary brings a wealth of knowledge to NIS with her many years of experience.

Boys Section Supervisor

Mr Ansir joined NIS from Manchester, UK in September 2011 as an ICT teacher for the secondary school. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Computing with Multimedia and a Masters in Education from the University of Huddersfield, UK. He is a qualified teacher with a PGCE in ICT, which he completed in 2008. His first teaching post was ICT and Media Studies at one of the best schools in the North-West of England, where he gained his QTS. Mr Ansir currently has a wide range of responsibilities within the school such as managing academic performance, discipline in the Boys' School and CAIE examinations. Mr. Ansir is a CAIE Head of Centre, a CAIE Examiner, an official CAIE Teacher Trainer and plays an active role in Professional Development at NIS. He is responsible for all internal and external examinations. He is also a part of many projects in school such as the Show My Homework, the School Management Information System, CAIE Exam Centre Accreditation and was on the steering committee for AdvancED accreditation, which NIS gained.

Girls Section Supervisor

Mrs. Lubna graduated from Mu'tah University, Jordan with a Bachelor of Education Degree. Mrs. Lubna started her teaching career in Jordan in 1999 before joining NIS in 2007. Throughout her career at NIS, she has filled many positions starting as a primary teacher and then the coordinator of English as Foreign Language and Head of the Arabic Language Department. From her position as the Girls' School Supervisor, Mrs. Lubna is committed to enhancing all aspects of NIS students' performance and providing them with the right tools to prosper academically, socially, physically and emotionally.

Primary School Supervisor

Mrs. Jayne graduated from Waikato University, with a Bachelor of Teaching. She has been teaching since 1999 in a variety of locations around the world. These locations include Kuwait, Qatar, New Zealand, and most recently Saudi Arabia. This is Mrs. Jayne's second stint at NIS, having spent almost six years here previously. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, educational management and has a particular interest in developing literacy skills with both first and second language learners. Mrs. Jayne is an approved Jolly Phonics trainer who delivers professional development to schools and teaching staff throughout New Zealand.
