At NIS, we care about educating our students who are growing up in digital world. As globally the use of ICT continues to grow, students will increasingly demand an education that integrates ICT hardware and software to achieve specific educational outcomes.
One of the NIS ICT department's main roles is to develop students' abilities and attitudes towards the use of social media and the ethical issues linked to technological innovations. At NIS our department has a vision of transforming teaching and learning, by increasing student motivation and engagement. ICT lessons are introduced from an early age in a meaningful way. Our structured CIE based curriculum facilitates rich experiences for enhanced levels of students' learning. Many of our students opt to take ICT at IGCSE level in senior grades, with a significant number going on to take the subject in G11 and 12 at A level.

At NIS we are proud of our ever expanding ICT provision. We have over 300 Internet enabled computers, distributed through five purpose built ICT labs, two of which have VDI capability. All classrooms have PC and data projector capabilities. Additionally, we have over 40 Smart Boards which are used by most teachers to assist with learning.
This year, our focus is to develop the teachers and students to build self-directed competencies, we are confident to prepare our students to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
