Our Community Service Program, a mandatory component for students in grades 11 and 12, embodies this commitment by providing them with a platform to engage in hands-on service and make a positive impact on the world around them.
Empowering Students to Make a Difference
Through a diverse range of community service opportunities, our students gain valuable life skills and knowledge while actively contributing to the betterment of society. They have the opportunity to support struggling students in KG, Primary, and grades 4-7, providing assistance with English language, math, and ICT. Additionally, they can assist in organizing science labs, performing break duties, and exploring other avenues as identified by our Student Counselors.
Nurturing Future Leaders
Our Community Service Program extends beyond practical service to foster the development of essential leadership qualities in our students. They are assigned to one class to do community service and one SLT member to do their supervised study periods, fostering accountability and mentorship. Weekly supervision ensures that students are engaged in their roles and fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
Recognizing and Celebrating Contributions
At the end of the school year, we recognize and celebrate the contributions of our community service participants by issuing certificates and providing recommendation letters upon request. This recognition serves as a testament to their dedication and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
