Digital literacy and technology

Digital literacy can improve the academic performance of students by allowing them to create content such as presentations, videos and blog posts. When they use digital tools to create their own original content, many of them can understand the material better and are more likely to retain the information. We use different platforms in the school to keep the student’s busy and same time they can enjoy learning. Here we have some apps, which we prefer to use with KG students. Like Kahoot, Quizizz and ClassDojo, these are the user-friendly apps.

We use Kahoot in ELC! Kahoot is a game-based learning platform that brings engagement and fun. With Kahoot, students learn by making the information engaging in a fun way. A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which players attempt to answer questions correctly on one or several specific topics. Quizzes can be used as a brief assessment in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, or skills.

It is a web-based quiz game platform for group competition or solo study. Students are encouraged to participate in games with rewards for answering questions and exploring new methods of learning. Overcoming our challenges drives students to perform well while reviewing.
