Students at NIS join the secondary school in grade six, which continues until grade twelve. The secondary section is divided between the Boys and Girls section. Each section has a Principal and Supervisor and the curriculum is delivered by specialist subject teachers forming part of a department. Each department is led by a curriculum / department coordinator who alongside the executive leadership team form the school leadership team. Subject coordinators are responsible for the curriculum development, planning and implementation along with school assessments within their own department.
